AngloGold plans to purchase 24,500,000 G2 Goldfields common shares.

G2 Goldfields, a renowned explorer in Guyana, is presently investigating the 17 kilometre Aremu-Oko trend. Since the 1870s gold rush, the area has been a rich alluvial goldfield.

Following its subscription, AngloGold will hold 11.7% of G2’s issued and outstanding shares.

AngloGold will receive preemptive and other rights to use the exploratory properties because it thinks they have substantial growth potential.
